Facebook is one of the largest online social networks in the world and a great resource for those interested in buying or selling real estate. I regularly post articles and links with information on the Atlanta housing market. You may even find new properties listed well before they appear on any other website or MLS. Through Facebook ads, I'm able to target my posts and increase the exposure of my listings for my seller clients. My business page followers are primarily located in Metro Atlanta, have an active interest in real estate, and their numbers continue to grow daily.
YouTube is the second largest search engine in the world (behind Google) with over 3 billion searches per month. My YouTube channel gives viewers access to valuable real estate tips, market trends, and newly listed properties through virtual tours. Twitter is a fairly simple to use social networking tool with over 250 million active users (monthly); the majority of which are on mobile devices. My Twitter account followers get direct access to newly published YouTube videos, blog articles, and status updates. I also re-tweet important real estate industry news and information to followers of my account. While Twitter is great for seeing what your friends are up to, it's also a valuable source for localized news and community information. Combining cell phone geolocation search with hashtags can keep you up to date with nearby happenings that impact you most.
LinkedIn is a social media site used by business professionals primarily for business oriented networking rather than personal use. I've grown my network of trusted professionals to provide my clients with a reliable point of contact for things like lenders, contractors, insurance agents and more. I regularly network with trusted fellow REALTORS®, service providers, and other industry professionals to keep them in the loop with my current listings and client needs. Google+ is a social networking and identity service strongly tied to most of Google's other online properties. My Google+ business page connects my listings and website with the ever expanding landscape of Google products and users.
